At Turbine, we’re a trusted, family-owned building company based in the Manawatū-Whanganui region, known for delivering high-quality homes with expert craftsmanship, clear communication, and outstanding service.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Director Shaun leads the team as a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) and Registered Master Builder. His passion for building, sharp attention to detail, and commitment to excellence guide every project. Shaun works closely with clients and remains involved from concept to completion to ensure every home meets the highest standard.

We are proud to be the preferred builder behind several well-known housing franchises in the region, but when you build directly with Turbine, you skip the middleman and benefit from the same trusted quality, greater flexibility, and a more personal experience.

Our construction team is led by Liam, our Advanced Trade Carpenter Supervisor, who oversees a crew of 14 skilled builders and apprentices. Each project is led by a qualified builder and completed in teams of 3–4 depending on the task. Liam conducts regular site visits across the Manawatū and surrounding areas to ensure progress, quality, and support.

Behind the scenes, Melissa manages operations and logistics, streamlining processes so our site teams can focus on delivering outstanding work.

Fiona leads our in-house interior design support, guiding clients through colour selections, finishes, and personalised design choices. For high-end or bespoke builds, we also collaborate with some of the region’s top interior designers to bring visions to life.
